Construction began last month to add 22,000 SF to the Pediatrics Plus facility on College Avenue in Conway.
Upon expected completion in late 2015 or early 2016, Pediatrics Plus will move from its building on Club Lane to the 40,108-SF facility located at 2740 College Avenue. The expansion is expected to create 10 new jobs, bringing Pediatrics Plus’ total employment in Conway to 125.
“We’re thrilled to expand our presence in Conway,” Amy Denton, co-owner of Pediatrics Plus, said in a news release. “This new and improved facility will allow us to provide even more specialized space and services for the more than 500 families at Pediatrics Plus in Conway.”
The facility will include a multi-purpose room for parents and staff trainings; a high-sensory therapy gym, low-sensory therapy gym, gross motor therapy gym, and play gym; a feeding and swallowing lab; an activities of daily living suite; and a new fully accessible playground with specialized equipment.
Broadstone PP Arkansas LLC of Rochester, New York, bought the 18,716-SF Pediatrics Plus Therapy & Center of Early Learning project for $5.6 million.
