Seafood restaurants, a bank branch in North Little Rock and land for a gated apartment project in west Little Rock assembled this week to form a quartet of million-dollar transactions.
• GMRI Inc. of Orlando, Florida, an affiliate of Darden Restaurants, sold the Red Lobster at 3707 McCain Blvd. in North Little Rock for nearly $5 million and the one at 8407 W. Markham St. in Little Rock for $3.4 million.
The properties were acquired by affiliates of American Realty Capital Properties Inc. of Phoenix.
The transactions followed the $2.1 billion purchase of the Red Lobster chain this summer by Golden Gate Capital Partners of San Francisco.
• USAble Corp. of Little Rock bought a 3,313-SF bank branch at 3711 McCain Blvd. — next door to the Red Lobster, in fact — for $1.8 million. Seller: Arvest Bank of Fayetteville.
• Panther Branch LLC, led by Brandon Huffman, acquired 11.4 acres near the southwest corner of Kanis and Cooper Orbit roads for $1.17 million from Alice Perryman.
The site is marked for development of a 168-unit, gated apartment project.
