Roby Brock to Grow ‘Talk Business’ Magazine

1 min read

Talk Business, the brand for Roby Brock’s magazine, radio, TV and Web products, is being revamped.

Talk Business announced Oct. 29 that its magazine will be published more frequently, and the brand name is changing to Talk Business Arkansas “in an effort to fully communicate our coverage of Arkansas and its role in the state and global business and political arenas.”

“As a result of the fine-tuning of our brand, we will be expanding our magazine from a quarterly publication to six times a year in 2013 with an emphasis on becoming a monthly magazine in the very near future. Talk Business Arkansas is also working on an expansion of our event partnerships in 2013 and we are in discussions to broaden a number of existing and new content partnerships,” the press release states.

Brock told Outtakes in an email that he had nothing to add to his company’s statement.

Brock first started Talk Business Quarterly in 2008, though the publishing schedule was interrupted in 2010 and an annual magazine called Talk Business & Politics was produced at the beginning of 2011. Talk Business partnered with Vowell Inc. of Little Rock, publisher of AY Magazine, to re-launch Talk Business Quarterly last January.
