A 2.58-acre lot next to the Whit Davis Home & Hardware Plus store in Sherwood has sold for $425,000 to a company led by Whit Davis President and Co-Owner Terry Toney.
The property is near the southwest corner of Brockington Road and Austin Bay Court.
Toney told Arkansas Business that what he bought is two parcels, and his plans are to sell the parcel to the north but keep the parcel closest to the existing Whit Davis store for future expansion, though there are no immediate plans to expand.
He also said the store is doing well, increasing its sales volume every month.
The buyer was his TDT-Sherwood LLC, and the seller was The Cracker Box LLC.
The Cracker Box gas station and convenience store is the Whit Davis store’s closest neighbor on one side. It’s also located on the same side of Brockington.
