Jewelry retailer Sissy’s Log Cabin announced the start of construction on its new flagship store in Little Rock.
The new store, located at the northeast corner of North University Avenue and Forest Place, will be the family-owned retailer’s largest at 11,300 SF. Sissy’s Log Cabin Inc., led by CEO Bill Jones, purchased the 1.1-acre site in September for $1.2 million.
It’s slated to open in fall 2026.
The new store will be less than half a mile from the Sissy’s location in Little Rock’s Heights neighborhood. It aims to “blend upscale sophistication with heritage craftsmanship, incorporating design elements that pay tribute to the company’s iconic log cabin roots,” Sissy’s said in a news release.
As part of the project, the company said it’s working with the city to “enhance accessibility and improve traffic flow in the area.”
Company founder Sissy Jones opened her first store in Pine Bluff in 1970. The company now has six locations around Arkansas, plus a store in Memphis.
