Jim Gowen Jr. will serve on the Independent Community Bankers of America Political Action Committee, which represents community banks. Gowen is the president and CEO of Merchants & Planters Bank in Newport.
Todd Whatley has been hired as senior counsel for the Wilson Estate Planning Group in Little Rock. Whatley started his career as a physical therapist, working in nursing homes and home health for 13 years. He went on to become a lawyer and has worked in private practice and focused on elder law.
