Nick Brown, president and CEO of Southwest Power Pool in Little Rock, has received the 2016 Business Achievement Award from Beta Gamma Sigma International Honor Society. The University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s College of Business, which nominated Brown for the award, will hold an invitation-only reception for him this month.
John Temperilli, a senior consultant for the Center for Toxicology & Environmental Health LLC of North Little Rock, was sworn in last month as a member of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Chemical Transportation Advisory Committee. The CTAC is responsible for providing counsel, technical advice and expertise to the Coast Guard’s Marine Safety & Environmental Protection Directorate.
