Sports Bets Scoring in the U.S.

1 min read

This map from the American Gaming Association shows the states where sports betting is now legal, where sports betting has been approved but is not yet operational, and where bills have been prefiled or introduced to legalize sports betting and are under consideration.

Arkansas voters approved Issue 4, now Amendment 100 to the state Constitution, on Nov. 6, 2018, allowing casino gambling, including sports betting, in four Arkansas counties. Those counties are Crittenden, home of Southland Casino Racing in West Memphis; Garland, site of Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort in Hot Springs; Jefferson, where Saracen Casino Resort is under construction in Pine Bluff; and Pope, where legal battles have prevented development of a casino so far.

Live, legal single-game sports betting is now legal in 14 states.
