Stephens Group-Backed Princeton TMX Hires Greg Hobby as VP of Sales

1 min read

Princeton TMX of Fort Wayne, Indiana, a shipping solutions firm owned by The Stephens Group LLC of Little Rock, has hired Greg Hobby as vice president of sales.

Hobby has more than 15 years of software sales and consumer goods experience, the company said in a news release. He most recently worked for social analytics company Talkwalker, where he built its enterprise-focused sales team.

Before then, Hobby led sales teams at technology companies including MaetaData and SPINS, where he scaled the business to over $100 million in revenue.

In his new role, Hobby will support Princeton TMX’s mission to scale its cloud-based transportation management system for industrial shippers.

“Greg has demonstrated his ability to build the enterprise sales team and function at several industry leading software companies,” Tim Minnich, CEO of Princeton TMX, said in the release. “His leadership will be vital to helping us scale our business and build the next generation go-to-market strategy.”

Hobby holds a master’s in business administration from Indiana University Northwest and a bachelor’s in political science from Ball State University in Indiana.

The Stephens Group announced in December that it has acquired Princeton TMX. Its customers serve end markets including agriculture, packaging, steel, lumber, aggregates, food and beverage, and chemicals.
