Superior Chevrolet property in Conway
A Tulsa investor paid nearly $3 million for the former home of Superior Chevrolet in Conway.
Ryan McNeill, through his 915 East Oak Street LLC, bought the 6.2-acre property earlier this month. Superior relocated to 1275 Exchange Ave. about a year ago.
The property will be redeveloped, with restaurants, stores and a hotel among the possible mix.
The 915 E. Oak St. project was owned by the Katherine Dean Revocable Trust and had been on the market for a year.
Dean, the widow of Conway car dealer Bill Dean, died a year ago, and her daughter, Suzy Bell, is the trustee of her mother’s namesake trust.
The Deans purchased the land for $200,000 in 1976. Bill Dean died in 1989.
T.J. Lefler of Sage Partners in Fayetteville brokered the sale.
There had been two previous attempts to sell the property but both efforts fell apart after going under contract.
