Tracy Tidwell Team of Conway Earns Leaders Circle Title (Movers & Shakers)

Real Estate

Tracy Tidwell and the Tracy Tidwell Team of ERA Henley Real Estate in Conway have been awarded a Leaders’ Circle designation by ERA Franchise Systems LLC. The designation means the team achieved 65 total closed units or $200,000 in adjusted gross commission in 2013. In addition to Tracy Tidwell, the team includes George Heintzen, Mark Tidwell, Tanya Moix, Susan Jarvis and Luke Thomas.

John Lopez has joined RPM Group/Corfac International of Little Rock as a commercial sales associate. Lopez spent more than 40 years in the Little Rock banking industry, primarily focusing on commercial real estate.

Education

Jeremy Dutschke has been named vice president for enrollment management and student services at Williams Baptist College at Walnut Ridge. Dutschke, who is currently director of the Ph.D. in Leadership Studies Program at Dallas Baptist University, will begin work at Williams in August.

Efosa Idemudia, assistant professor of business data analytics in the College of Business at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, has been selected as a Fulbright Scholar through the U.S. Department of State. His Fulbright Program grant will allow Idemudia to spend this summer teaching at the Lagos Business School in Lagos, Nigeria.

Financial Services

Kimberly Shaw and Carla Smith have joined Eagle Bank’s Little Rock branch at 1 Financial Centre. Shaw, who has more than 15 years of retail banking experience, was hired as senior vice president and manager of retail banking. Smith, a mortgage lender with 30 years of experience, is vice president and manager of mortgage banking.

Health Care

Dr. Dan Moore, an employee of ARcare of Augusta for more than 20 years, has accepted the position of chief medical information officer for ARcare and its KentuckyCare division. His appointment was effective May 1.

Rhonda Horton has been promoted to director of education and quality improvement for Arkansas Hospice. Replacing Horton in her previous position as program director for Russellville and Conway is Susie Akin, who had been the area manager for Arkansas Hospice’s Conway office.

Retail

Carey Otwell has been hired as director of meat and seafood operations by Harps Food Stores Inc. of Springdale. Otwell, who has 24 years of experience in the industry, was most recently director of meat and seafood for Meijers, which operates stores in more than five Midwestern states. Otwell succeeds David Wright, who retired in August.

Bernie Gacka, former senior vice president of furniture for Macy’s Inc. and most recently VP of retail development for Furniture Brands International, has been named president and chief merchandising officer for I.O. Metro of Lowell. The chain of 17 home furnishings stores has also hired Alexis Roberts as senior merchandise planner and promoted Leslie Gardner to accessories product development manager. Roberts has 13 years of planning and sourcing experience for retailers including Eddie Bauer, White House/Black Market and Wal-Mart Stores Inc. Gardner has spent three years with I.O. Metro as design consultant and store manager in Rogers.

Hospitality/Tourism

Thomas W. Roy III, vice president of finance and chief financial officer for the Frank Fletcher Group, has been appointed to a four-year term on the North Little Rock Advertising & Promotion Commission. The Frank Fletcher Group of affiliated companies includes Benihana, the Riverfront Steakhouse and Rocket Twenty-One.

Legal

Paul Parnell has become a member of the Rose Law Firm in Little Rock, and Adam Bodeker has become an associate attorney. Parnell is a 2008 graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s Bowen School of Law. An inactive CPA, his law practice focuses on general corporate law and tax law. Bodeker graduated from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 2011 and earned an LL.M. in taxation from the University of Florida in 2012. His practice includes estate planning and taxation.

R. Seth Hampton has joined the Little Rock office of Quattlebaum Grooms Tull & Burrow as an associate attorney. Hampton received an undergraduate degree in agricultural business from Arkansas State University and a law degree from UALR’s Bowen School of Law. He will focus his practice on commercial real estate development, regulatory compliance, finance and business transactions.

Nonprofits

Stephanie Fox has been hired as senior director of human resources of Goodwill Industries of Arkansas. Goodwill previously worked as chief resident and chaplain at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences hospital in Little Rock.

Engineering

William “Billy” Butler has joined the Russellville office of Crafton Tull, an architecture, engineering and surveying firm with four offices in Arkansas and two in Oklahoma. Butler is a 2005 graduate of Arkansas State University with a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering.

Telecommunications

Natalie Fleeman, formerly marketing and public relations coordinator for Haag Brown Commercial Real Estate & Development of Jonesboro, has been hired as marketing coordinator for Ritter Communications of Jonesboro. She is scheduled to graduate this month from Arkansas State University with a degree in journalism.
