Travis Mosler Joins Central Moloney

1 min read

Veteran creative director and content producer Travis Mosler is the new director of marketing at Central Moloney Inc. of Pine Bluff, the electric transformer manufacturer announced Tuesday.

In a news release, the company said Mosler “brings invaluable experience to CMI at a crucial juncture.” The growing company, which employs 500 workers in Pine Bluff, has been acquired by Wind Point Partners of Chicago, a private equity firm that confirmed the deal on Oct. 27.

Mosler previously owned and operated Crossbuck Creative, a Pine Bluff advertising and marketing agency that had Central Moloney as a client. Before running his own firm, he was creative director at Agency 501 in Little Rock.

The company said hiring Mosler after the acquisition sets the stage for emphasizing the company’s growth. The electric transformer market is rolling as the aging electric grid looks to the future. The company now has a full shift of workers making transformers at a new plant in Bay County, Florida, and plans to start construction soon on another manufacturing site in nearby Okaloosa County.

“Travis brings a unique skill set and drive to the Central Moloney family,” CEO Chris Hart said in the release. “His vision will help extend our reach as we continue to grow.”

Mosler said he was honored to join the CMI team and looks “forward to helping CMI reach new heights.”

CMI is a leading manufacturer of distribution transformers and  transformer components, with a history dating back to 1949.
