Monica McGurk
Tyson Foods Inc. of Springdale named Monica McGurk senior vice president of strategy and new ventures.
McGurk will oversee the company’s corporate strategy and new business opportunities, the publicly traded meat processor said in a news release. She will report directly to CEO Donnie Smith.
“Monica is a great fit for our company,” Smith said in a statement. “She comes to us as the result of a long career of proven performance in strategic roles, and we believe her extensive experience will help us continue to grow as a value-added food company.”
McGurk was a senior vice president of strategy, decision support and e-commerce for the Coca-Cola Co.’s North American Group. She spent 19 years at McKinsey & Co., a management consulting firm.
