Joni Lee and Chasse Conque
Two members of the Chancellor’s Cabinet at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock have new titles.
Joni Lee is now vice chancellor for university affairs, and Chasse Conque will serve as vice chancellor and director of athletics.
These title changes better reflect their duties on the Cabinet and bring consistency to the group, Chancellor Andrew Rogerson said in a news release.
Lee has held numerous titles during her 30 years with the university.
She started as a public policy researcher in the Center for Arkansas Initiatives, then worked as part of the university’s research and public service unit. She became coordinator of university advancement in 1990 and was named associate vice chancellor of university advancement in 1999. In 2014, that title was changed to chief government relations officer.
As vice chancellor, Lee will continue to work with government and federal agencies to elevate UA Little Rock’s position in the region.
Conque started with UA Little Rock in 2006 as manager of donor relations in the Office of Development. He followed this with four years in the Department of Athletics as director of development.
Conque left in 2011 to become senior director of development for the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences’ College of Medicine before returning to UA Little Rock in 2015 as its athletics director to lead the Division I athletics program.
As vice chancellor, he will continue to promote Trojan pride on the campus and in the community.
