Annie Wright
The University of Arkansas at Little Rock has hired Annie Wright as its director of development and external affairs for the new College of Social Sciences and Communication.
Wright comes from the University of Central Arkansas where she was director of major gifts and special projects. Her responsibilities included major gifts in Arkansas, Texas and Missouri, and securing $3 million for the UCA Honors College Campaign.
“With nine years of experience in higher education, Annie brings to UALR a great understanding of public, four-year institutions,” Bob Denman, vice chancellor for advancement, said in a news release. “UALR is fortunate to have someone of her caliber join its team.”
She earned a bachelor and master of science at UCA, and is a member of the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education and the Arkansas Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
