Ashley Welch Hudson
The University of Arkansas-Pulaski Tech Foundation has named Ashley Welch Hudson chairman of the its board of directors.
Hudson, a partner in Kutak Rock’s Little Rock office, represents clients in commercial and employment disputes and other corporate and business litigation. She also represents and advises health care clients on operations and regulatory compliance.
“We are pleased that Ashley has been elected to lead the efforts of the Foundation’s Board of Directors over the next year,” Shannon Boshears, executive director of the UA-PTC Foundation, said in a news release. “She brings a great deal of business expertise, community leadership, and passion for education to our board.”
The UA-Pulaski Technical College Foundation is the official fundraising and private gift-receiving agency for the college.
In 2015 and 2016, Hudson was named a “rising star” in the area of employment litigation by Mid-South Super Lawyers, which honors Arkansas attorneys under the age of 40 who have been practicing for 10 years or less. In 2016, she received the Maurice Cathey Award for valued contributions to The Arkansas Lawyer.
