Total compensation for Kenny Gunderman, CEO and president of Uniti Group Inc. of Little Rock, decreased to $5.1 million in 2018 from $5.4 million in 2017.
According to a definitive proxy statement the company filed last week, Gunderman’s salary was $725,000 in 2018, up from $721,635 in 2017.
Gunderman’s total pay in 2018 included $3 million in stock awards, $1.4 million in cash incentives and $16,858 in other compensation. The cash incentives and stock awards were down $207,942 and $75,813, respectively, compared to 2017.
Each of the company’s named executive officers were also paid less in 2018.
Mark Wallace, executive vice president, was paid a $450,000 salary, $864,401 in stock awards, $587,483 in cash incentives and $22,282 in other compensation for a total of $1.9 million. His total compensation in 2017 was $2 million.
Daniel Heard, executive vice president, received total compensation of $1.4 million, down from $1.45 million in 2017. His total compensation included a $375,000 salary, $514,524 in stock awards, $489,483 in cash incentives and $15,926 in other compensation.
The company’s stockholders will vote during a virtual annual meeting at 7 a.m. May 16 on re-electing five directors and continuing to do business with auditors PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
