Updated LittleRock.com Fully Responsive, Open for VisitorsLock Icon

1 min read

You can hit the refresh button, because the new Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau website has arrived.

The site’s remodel was a long time coming, having been commissioned in mid-2016 as the bureau turned to the digital marketing firm Team SI after years with Aristotle Inc. of Little Rock.

After predicting a June completion date and then pushing it back through August, LRCVB President and CEO Gretchen Hall was happy to report last month that the new LittleRock.com is up, and had been for a while.

“We are working through a 30-day audit to repair any glitches before we make a more public announcement,” she said in an email on Sept. 21. The look is colorful and crisp, with a “Plan My Trip” feature allowing users to select interests and destinations and save them, much as a shopping cart holds items on retail sites.

“I like the mapping feature on the homepage that brings more attention to our districts and neighborhoods throughout the destination,” Hall said. “We will have more capabilities to build the content and curate stories as we move forward.”

She also predicted that travelers will enjoy the “fully responsive design geared toward more mobile users.”

She’s also proud of the redesign’s bigger imagery and a “near me” feature to help users find their way.
