USA Truck Inc. of Van Buren announced Monday that George Henry will be the new senior vice president of USAT Logistics.
Henry brings 15 years of experience in logistics and transportation. Most recently, he served as vice president of logistics and Knight Dedicated at Knight Transportation Inc. of Phoenix, a publicly traded logistics company that in 2013 mounted an unsuccessful takeover attempt of USA Truck.
Henry held the position at Knight for five years. He began his career with Transplace of Dallas, where he served in numerous roles and was eventually promoted to vice president of capacity services.
The company also announced Monday that James Craig, executive vice president, chief commercial officer and and president of USAT Logistics, will retire on May 1. He joined USA Truck a little over two years ago.
USA Truck President and CEO James Reed said in a news release, “Jim’s contributions to the organization have been important to our recently improving financial results and his specific contributions in both sales and USAT Logistics provide a strong foundation on which to build.”
