If you haven’t been scouring the masthead of About You or Arkansas Money & Politics lately, you might not know the two Vowell Inc. publications have a new publisher.
Missy Penor has been hired to oversee the publications and Vowell Inc.’s day-to-day operations, but does not have ownership in the company, she said in an email. Penor came to Vowell Inc. from the Daily Record.
Vowell Inc. was rumored to be on the market last year, but owner Vicki Vowell did not return several phone calls and emails inquiring about online listings that appeared to describe her business.
