VP, Foundation President Latest to Leave CARTILock Icon

1 min read

She declined to say why, but Rebecca Pearrow confirmed to Whispers last week that she is no longer vice president of business development for CARTI.

We don’t know exactly when she left — at least two weeks ago — meaning the job for which she relocated her family to Little Rock from northwest Arkansas didn’t last long. Her hiring as part of the “senior management team” was announced in November by Adam Head, who became CEO in September.

A product of Newport, Pearrow earned a bachelor’s degree in therapeutic recreation from Arkansas Tech University and an MBA from Harding University.

Before joining CARTI in the fall, Pearrow was most recently director of marketing and business development at Northwest Health/Siloam Springs Regional Hospital in Siloam Springs.

She says she’s looking for a new professional opportunity.

Kathi Jones has also announced her retirement after more than 12 years as president of the CARTI Foundation, effective June 30. No replacement yet, Jones said, and the job opening is being advertised.

As regular readers know, this is the third week in a row that Whispers has reported on high-profile departures from the Central Arkansas Radiation Therapy Institute: Dr. Brad Baltz, the highest-paid oncologist, who was fired last month; longtime PR coordinator Ron Standridge, who was laid off in December; Jeff Burton, the controller (and former CFO) who resigned after 21 years; and Jim Carter, who was IT director.
