Cameron Smith & Associates of Rogers announced Monday that it has hired two former Walmart Inc. executives and will launch an international division of its corporate recruiting operation.
In a news release, the company said it hired Tom Colella and Eduardo Mariscotti.
Colella previously led Walmart’s international executive recruiting organization. Before that, he was a partner at Korn Ferry International of Los Angeles for more than 20 years.
Mariscotti was general counsel of Walmart Argentina for more than seven years. Most recently, he was vice president of human resources, helping to develop Hispanic talent. He also led Walmart’s ethics program across Latin America and Walmart’s international compliance program around the world, the firm said.
The new international division marks the latest expansion by the fast-growing business. In January, Arkansas Business reported that Smith had opened an office in San Antonio was considering offices in Chicago and Nashville, Tennessee. The firm already has an office in Minneapolis, the home of Target Corp.
Cameron Smith made its mark as a top provider of executive talent to many of the thousand-plus vendors doing business with Walmart Inc. of Bentonville.
“2016 was our second-biggest year ever,” Smith told Arkansas Business’ Whispers column last month. In recent years, the company added a focus, gender diversity, and “that’s really taken off for us,” he said.
