Apollo Tyres to Buy Cooper Tire & Rubber in $2.5 Billion Deal

Apollo Tyres Ltd of India says it is buying Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. in an all-cash deal worth about $2.5 billion. Charles Nickerson of Texarkana Chamber of Commerce says the deal appears to be a positive one for the city's Cooper plant. read more >
