Conway Replaces Architects For New Airport Terminal

The Conway City Council on Tuesday approved Rik Sowell Architects of Conway as the architect for the terminal. The city dropped Architectural Alliance of Minneapolis as project architect in favor of the local company to “expedite the design and conceptual construction plan,” Mayor Tab Townsell said. read more >
Conway’s new airport is under construction on an 180-acre site in the Lollie Bottoms in the city’s southwest corner. When complete in 2014, the $25 million project will feature a 5,500-foot runway located in an area that can accommodate neighboring aviation.
