I used to think I was just so darn clever, but that was before I saw Little Rock attorney David Couch in action. He did the math and realized that it would be easier and cheaper to collect the 78,000 signatures needed to get an amendment making Arkansas counties wet to the state Constitution on the November general election ballot — just 10 percent of voters in the last gubernatorial election — than to collect 38 percent of registered voter signatures in one county after another. read more >
