Editor's note: A follow-up story on Keith Richardson's plans for the building is available here.

Did you hear that a local apartment developer acquired a piece of the downtown Little Rock skyline?

200 West Capitol Investment LLC, led by Keith Richardson, purchased the 24-story, 290,680-SF Bank of America Plaza for $8 million.

That deal with Searcy’s First Security Bank included the adjoining seven-story parking deck.

At last report, Richardson owns more than 2,000 units of market-rate apartments in central and northwest Arkansas.

We couldn’t track down Richardson to inquire about his plans for the property.

The office high-rise was built in 1969 to house the headquarters of Worthen Bank and a roster of commercial tenants.
