Chris Locke, Blair Parnell and David Skinner have been promoted to Arkansas division president positions with BancorpSouth of Tupelo, Mississippi.
Locke has been promoted to president of the central Arkansas division, which consists of four branches in Little Rock and branches in Hot Springs and Conway. Locke previously served as the Little Rock market president for the bank. He has served in banking for 25 years.
Parnell is president of the northwest Arkansas division in Fort Smith. He previously was the Fort Smith market president of the financial institution. He has 35 years of banking experience, with 24 of those with BancorpSouth.
Skinner has been named president of the south Arkansas division in El Dorado. Skinner previously was the bank’s El Dorado market president. He has served with BancorpSouth since 1992.
Forrest Spicher has been promoted to Hot Springs community bank president. Spicher previously was an executive vice president of the bank and was responsible for leading the bank’s expansion into the Hot Springs market. He joined Bancorp in 2010 and has 32 years of banking experience.
Tom Nelson has been promoted to Conway community bank president of BancorpSouth. Nelson led the bank’s entry into the Conway market in 2016, when it opened a loan production office, which was converted into a full-service location last year. He has 30 years of banking experience.
Stephenie Cooke has joined HNB Bank in Helena as the new marketing and bank culture director.
Cooke’s new position will focus attention on the marketing, public relations, communication, training and human resources for the bank, which was formerly known as Helena National Bank and will soon be rebranded as Partners Bank.
Jimmy Corley was named to the Board of Examiners of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants during the organization’s meeting in Dallas.
Corley is the executive director of the Arkansas State Board of Public Accountancy in Little Rock. He is the only executive director representative on the 18-member board.
