May 22 is the new target date for Bank OZK staffers to begin moving into the new corporate headquarters in west Little Rock.
“We have pushed our move-in date back by a month, given the current environment we’re in and how many people in our corporate headquarters are working at home,” said Tim Hicks, chief administrative officer and executive director of investor relations at Bank OZK.
The first wave of employees originally was scheduled to move into the 248,000-SF office building on April 24. Summer remains the broad hoped-for window to host a grand opening.
Construction on the 18000 Cantrell Road project is essentially finished. The COVID-19 disrupted timetable for occupancy now bears a tentative end date in late July.
