2 min read

Chad Aduddell will be interim market CEO for CHI St. Vincent, the health system announced late Monday afternoon.

Aduddell will oversee CHI St. Vincent in Little Rock and all of Catholic Health Initiatives’ organizations and operations in Arkansas. He will report to the CHI St. Vincent board of directors and to Peter Banko, the former CEO of St. Vincent before its absorption by CHI, whom he will replace.

In September 2014, Banko was named senior vice president of operations and chief integration officer for CHI.

Aduddell previously served CHI St. Vincent as executive vice president and chief operating officer.

“It has been a true privilege to serve as CHI St. Vincent’s chief executive officer for the past eight years,” Banko said in a statement. “This community have been extremely welcoming, gracious, hospitable and supportive of my family. Now is the right time to transition leadership of our 127-year ministry to Chad Aduddell and his team so they can truly take it the next level and create a new chapter in its history.

“I will continue to be involved at CHI St. Vincent by helping Chad and his team ensure we deliver world-class patient care, move our strategic plan forward, guide the development of strategic partnerships with leading hospitals and physician groups in the state, and ensure the Catholic ministry grows even stronger.”

Before joining St. Vincent, Aduddell served as the president of the Bone & Joint Hospital and as chair and administrator of the Saints Cardiovascular Institute at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City.
