Cranford Co. of Little Rock won 20 awards overall in the regional ADDY Awards for the 10th District of the American Advertising Association in Fort Worth, Texas, finishing second to GSD&M of Austin, an agency of 400 employees.
Cranford took six silver awards, 13 bronzes and one gold prize for its CARE for Animals Paws on the Runway campaign. Other work was for Twitter, Twitter UK, Heifer International, Williamson Insurance, Wright Lindsey Jennings and Susan G. Komen Arkansas.
“The right group of smart people can take on any challenge and succeed,” said Jay Cranford, the firm’s creative director, adding that the contest draws 60,000 entries each year. “Our work was judged against the biggest and best agencies in Dallas, Houston, Austin, Oklahoma City and Tulsa.” Next comes the national competition in New Orleans in June.
The other district winner from AdClub Little Rock was Few, the North Little Rock design and development company led by David Hudson and Arlton Lowry.
