Cyclery Seeks Beer Permit Near Doe’sLock Icon

1 min read

A request for a native beer permit may give a little insight into a potential new business at 1101 W. Markham St. in downtown Little Rock: Shift Modern Cyclery.

Francis Webber is seeking the permit from the Arkansas Alcoholic Beverage Control Board.

Webber last appeared in these pages on Nov. 23, when his Hex Carbon Workshop LLC bought the property, a 3,960-SF former garage, for $140,000.

“We’re not a bike shop. We’re a Cyclery. If you don’t know the difference, come check us out,” Shift Modern Cyclery’s Facebook page urges.

A response to a message to Shift hadn’t been received as of press time, but count Whispers intrigued.
