1 min read

The Nabholz Charitable Foundation of Conway has donated $1 million for Arkansas Children’s Hospital’s $318 million expansion project.

The donation will be used to expand family services and increase access to care at the hospital.

Nabholz has been a partner of Arkansas Children’s since the 1970s, when founder Bob Nabholz joined the Arkansas Children’s Board of Directors. Jake Nabholz, CEO of Nabholz Corporation of Conway, serves as chairman of the Arkansas Children’s Foundation Board of Directors.

Including the Nabholz donation, companies, individuals and organizations have donated $12.1 million toward the expansion project at the Little Rock campus. The first phase of the Little Rock segment of the project is expected to be completed in May or June of 2026. Construction to expand Arkansas Children’s Northwest should be completed in the summer of 2026.

In September, Nabholz Construction was awarded a $165 million contract to complete a new outpatient facility, new main entry and a gallery addition to the Sturgis Building as well as interior renovations to existing spaces for the hospital.
