Little Rock’s latest entrepreneurial center will go live on Sept. 1 when The Hive opens its doors in Riverdale.
The Hive is being billed as a co-working lifestyle space for creatives and entrepreneurs. It’s part of Bespoke Media Group’s new headquarters at 2207 Cantrell Road. Bespoke recently partnered with Little Rock digital media startup Hark on an entrepreneurial story-telling tour of Southern cities.
According to a news release issued Monday, The Hive is “designed as a home base for creatives in Central Arkansas that blends coworking, entrepreneurial programming, and recreational activities like rock-climbing and bicycling in a communal space meant to compliment the growing entrepreneurial scene.”
The Hive will include private and collaborative workspaces and other office amenities including free parking, free coffee and tea, multiple private conference rooms and even Friday happy hours. Members also will receive access to the House of Genius global entrepreneurial community.
Lifestyle offerings will include easy access to the Arkansas River Trail bike path, secure bike storage and shower/locker facilities, and a rock-climbing wall.
Over the course of its first six months, The Hive plans a variety of members-only networking and entrepreneurial development events. Plus, it will set aside a portion of each membership fee for use as grant money to “creatives and entrepreneurs who require additional funding to support their work.”

The Hive will be the latest entrepreneurial center serving a growing startup community in central Arkansas. The Innovation Hub in Argenta soon will open its Silver Mine co-working space for which it hired UALR’s Jeff Stinson to lead. The Venture Center, which leases space from the Little Rock Tech Park on East Markham, offers an array of entrepreneurial resources and programs.
